ONE-DAY 'Cumbia Workshop' |
Cumbia or "Celebration" is the foundation for any Latin dance enthusiast. Cumbia dance is a great tool to start dancing any Latin American style. Afro-colombian folkloric dances are a wonderful playground for people of all ages.
Feel the music, learn basic steps and Wepa! Group and partner dances.
No dance experience necessary. Bare foot dance on wooden floor, or smooth shoes.

Fridays/Saturdays 'Latin Dances' |
Merengue or "whip" (light & fluffy as in lemon merarn pie) is the happiest dance from Domincan Republic.
Side to side steps, and easy to learn patterns for couples, for wedding's dances.
Salsa or spicy sauce, dance solo or with a partner, line dancing, shines, turn patterns.
Bachata or "fiesta" is another partner dance from Dominican Republic,
hip hikes and simple patterns.
Samba or "the bold child" in Brazil, another child of Africa. Happy dancing for Carnival. Learn several steps and hip combinations.
